Moregeous Workshops

Our Supper Clubs as featured and recommended by Manchester Finest, Manchester Confidential and the Manchester Evening News have proved so popular that we though we’d try a little twist for 2025. We are working with a number of incredibly talented craftswomen and artists to bring you some unique, fun and inspiring workshops here at Moregeous Mansions. You can learn new skills such as willow weaving, the Japanese art of Kintsugi, contemporary gilding and shiny shoe making, with friends or booking on solo – we’re a very friendly bunch!

With a glass of prosecco to reward your hard crafting and a delicious grazing table, guests are guaranteed a lovely time, something beautiful created to take home and are also welcome to BYO to relax after the workshop in gorgeous surrounding. We will be inside in the cooler months but will hold workshops in the lush garden setting in summertime.

For 2025, a year looking very tough for independent businesses, we are looking forward to supporting and promoting the highly talented, wonderfully creative and all round lovely craftswoman with whom we are collaborating on these workshops. We all appreciate you considering spending your hard earned cash on these experiences which will give you skills for life, a fun time and also a nice warm fuzzy feeling knowing you are helping to keep heritage skills and contemporary craft knowledge alive and thriving.

For dining, we use many local suppliers including butchers like Little Pigs in Didsbury, Pimlotts in Cheadle Hulme and Littlewoods at the Heatons. Fish we love from Out of The Blue in Chorlton and The Easy Fish Co in Heaton Moor. Preferred veg suppliers are Unicorn Grocery and Waitrose / Aldi for essentials. Your lunch menu will be provided and linked to the relevant workshop and vegetarian options are always available.
