The web-site Homes and Bargains helps lovers of things interior to navigate the best offers / sales on the internet, definitely a handy tool when everyone is looking to get the most delicious items at the lushest prices.
This week their feature writer Jonathan asked Moregeous and a few other Twitter decor types for their tips for wallpaper and paint for Spring 2011.
I’ve plumped for the Living Etc paint range developed with B&Q and one of my favourite paint specialists, Scottish company Craig & Rose – I’ve used gallons of their paint over the years. I know Jonathan’s had to cut down copy to fit the page, but this was my full blurb!
Living Etc’s range encapsulates the desirable and yet the affordable, it’s cool for your walls and won’t burn a hole in your pocket either. The chilled out greys and romantic pastels perfectly mix up a modern feel for me, a softly architectural vibe for Spring 2011.
All the shades work well for a full house palette or as individual rooms, plus you can accessorise the look with this season’s punchy acids, muted metallics or creamy tones – or as the image (below) shows – all three!

Right, time to pack my camera, notepad and a Red Bull, it’s off to Interiors Birmingham 2011!
