How to revitalise a wooden waste paper bin in graphite, white & brass

Upcycling a wooden waste paper binChange is always revitalising and sometimes things which seemed previously okay, definitely will no longer do. Like my fairly battered, slightly orange wooden waste paper bin, long hidden under an attic desk. A perfectly nice, very practical bucket type bin which, as it will look totally out of place in my new white office but I never throw anything away, was revitalised last night 🙂

A coat of graphite inside & white outside with a dash of brass spray to the metal strips and suddenly it’s perfect and I love it again 🙂

Used : Graphite & Pure White chalk paint, soft wax to seal the paint and give a water resistant finish, Marabu Bronze spray.
