Whilst painting in the garden of one of our communal blocks yesterday, a veg box arrived for one of the tenants, all grown locally and a bargain at a fiver delivered. This a) made me delighted that one of our tenants shopped local & indie in a such a way and b) inspired me to get some flyers from the delivery girl to pop under other tenants’ doors, with a little added note.
I often distribute leaflets or put notices up for tenants about events happening locally or offers from local independent businesses, kinda feels like part of my job as mother hen landlady, but this was a first. Is it too much, do you think, trying to change their eating / shopping habits too?!? đŸ™‚
