Prawns, peacocks & pampering at Yorkshire’s new luxury cat hotel

Mmmmmmm, a la carte prawns :-)

Mmmmmmm, a la carte prawns 🙂

We’ve featured a few hotel stays on the Moregeous blog in the past and aim to do a lot more lifestyle, holiday & food posts this year, so how could I resist featuring this amazing new hotel in Yorkshire…. for cats!! Luxury individual suites, a la carte menu, underfloor heating, bespoke climbing frames and Swarovski crystals – the Ings Luxury Cat Hotel is pussycat paradise. For those off on holiday and booking Kitty in, the only worry would be whether her accommodation was better than yours.

Or maybe butterflies are more your cat’s thing…..

I love that they post ‘guest’ photos on Facebook and there’s such attention to detail and obvious care for their visitors. Do have a feeling that some cats may go home demanding their own tv and firefly jar, so it’d have to be carefully explained that fireflies are just for Ings, not for life 😉

As a cat lover with an amenable dad who comes to stay whenever we’re away, I know Missy isn’t short of attention and cuddles when I’m not there but for those who want to ensure a 5-star break for their pet, this place has surely got to go to the top of the list?

As most cats would doubtless say, it’s about time that their holiday accommodation standards reached fur coat level.
