I’m keeping an eye out for colourful picnic style ideas at the moment, ready to pounce on the most gorgeous as inspiration for our Summer Banquet down at the Baths in a few weeks. As most of you know I was involved in a campaign to keep open our local Edwardian pool last year and a few of us have been beavering away on a plan to run this amazing building after Spring 2015, keeping the pool & gym but revitalising the poorly used areas with craft, food, enterprise and a whole host of other ideas. Trying to change people’s perception of a building after 100yrs is no mean feat and as part of that task, we’re starting to hold different events there so the community can start to see what might be, instead of simply what is. Hence our Summer Banquet on July 13th!
I love the image above from Ikea, aren’t those coloured umbrellas amazing floating above the table? And the use of different patterns of brightly coloured fabric is spectacular. We’ve really got our work cut out for us as the room has never been used for such an event but I love a challenge. If we can make it look anything like these images I’ve found, I’ll be delighted 🙂
Here are some more images I’ve found as inspiration:
Particular credit to Weddbook for a beautiful post & images : HERE, I think I’m in love with those tree stump *vases*!
