Project Squeeze – Final detail shots

Laura Ashley crystal cupboard handles on Ikea Pax wardrobe

Back in April I took the first grotty shots of Project Squeeze, so named as it was a very small studio flat which needed a huge dose of moregeousness to even make it habitable, never mind gorgeous. We got started in May and in my mind I could visualise exactly what I wanted it to look like at the end of works, bathed in gold, feminine and a complete transformation! It’s taken a little longer than planned due to spending two days a week in Hope Hospital for a month – a bit of a site hindrance as you can imagine, but with the power of the iPhone, a lot of help from Mr M and a few late office / Ikea nights, everything stayed on track and all is now complete.

It’s now mid-August and the tenant has now moved in – she was the second girl to view and snapped it up, the first adored it but she was about 6’2″ and in an apartment called Project Squeeze, well, you get the picture 😉

I spent part of this weekend taking the final snaps and am utterly delighted with the results. The next few Moregeous posts will show you the transformation of the four areas, kitchen, bedroom, shower room and kitchen, along with some tips and for the really serious interior porn lovers amongst you, I’ve a video of the before, during and after.

First up however are some detail shots which will hopefully whet your appetite:

Recessed shelf in stud wall with Laura Ashley Lori paper and exposed beam
Upcycled table
Ikea Lidingo and Adel kitchen reflected from living room mirror
Basin and oak shelving in the shower room
Etched mirrors sunk into plasterwork with crystal handle to meter cupboard
