How to tile a fireplace hearth with eclectic, vintage tiles ready for a wood-burning stove

 Here’s a lovely little project for a local client who wanted to recreate in her own home a beautiful vintage tiled fireplace she’d seen. The one on the right was her inspiration and the one on the left is the one we completed. Our client had sourced her own gorgeous cermaics, which typically for vintage tiles were of course different sizes and different thicknesses – deep joy for any tiler 😉
We all get our inspiration from different places and it’s a fab idea to keep images of the interiors you’ve seen and love to then give your builder or interior designer a firm steer in the direction you want to go!
