Delighted to be helping out at TOMORROW’S Manchester based interior design / craft event Home Is In the North at Halle St Peters in Ancoats. Alongside an exciting array of independent interior designers and boutique homeward brands, I’ll be personalising an eBay find to show you just how easy it is to stamp your own unique look on thrifty treasure.
Do come down between 11 and 4, Saturday 26th April 2014 to support Northern designers & makers and generally have a lovely Bank Holiday Saturday out and about 🙂
Designer Anthony Hughes‘ words sum up the event perfectly: “Workshops, trend seminars and local street food find themselves in the heart of the city for an exclusive shopping event. 30 designer-makers will be showcasing their unique work, spanning many spectrums including ceramics, up cycled lighting and furniture, textile design, illustration and mosaics in an historic setting.
Not only will there be independent designers work available to buy, but the event will be hosting some exclusive workshops and trend seminars. First up we have Sian Astley of Moregeous Design Studio running a Furniture Restoration workshop, then Kimberley Hughes of Swoonworth Design Blog with an insight into the upcoming interior trends of 2014 and a Art Creation workshop, and last but certainly not least, a superb Cushion Cover Workshop from My Craftea Day.”
