I’ve fallen a little in love with all things grey in the garden and I don’t just mean with my very own silver fox Mr M. A lovely hour browsing online confirmed that although it’s not properly caught on everywhere, lots of people agree that exterior grey with lush planting looks fabulous and can look equally gorgeous in traditional or contemporary external spaces. I’ve done my very own dip-a-charcoal-dye on one of our rental gardens and am creating a space for this trend for a fab local garden centre in a couple of weeks, but meanwhile I’m further inspired by these spectacular Pinterest favourite finds and different looks:
- Deep charcoal backdrops with simple planters, clean lines and modern furnishings

http://www.walhalla.com - The classic white and grey combo

http://www.decodreamscometrue.blogspot.gr - Pale shades of silvery grey with weathered timber and costal chic

http://www.eksterantiques.com - Restrained, expensive luxury
- Nickels and galvanised pots complimented by lavender and splashes of purple & pinks

http://www.rodenburgtuinen.nl - Modern greys elegantly framed with glass, concrete and on trend succulents

http://www.vosgesparis.com - French style cottage chic
- Vintage, messiness with a carefree overgrown feel
- Super cool, cutting edge chic with bold, yes I do dare choices

- Those pops of colour which work SO well with greys indoors work equally well outside too

Excellent, I had grey garden furniture delivered at the weekend and I didn’t even know it was on trend! The cat is black and white though…she’s gonna have to go! Em |
Break it to her gently ;))))
I am a massive fan of Cuprinol’s “Urban Slate” Our fences are painted in this and we have white and dove grey gravel on the ground and lots of architechtural plants. Bang on trend and we didn’t realise!
