This small bathroom wasn't ticking all the boxes for its owners, who wanted a more stylish feel, less shell-like curves, more storage and if at all possible a separate shower due to both environmental concerns and issues with chronic pain - a subject I know a lot about! Kinda made me determined to shoe-horn one... Continue Reading →
A moggy filled week on site, full of ‘cat’astrophes in fact (groan)
This week has been filled with the misadventures, nosiness and general all-round interference from various moggies on our sites and at home. In Project Tosca, so named due to the yowlingly operatic Oscar above, Team Moregeous have been fitting a new kitchen but we had a little hiccup early in the week. When I was... Continue Reading →
Project Payne: Finished living room and kitchen – a huge difference on a landlords budget

The layout of this apartment remained largely the same as pre-works as there wasn't much leeway for change, however extra room and storage space was... Continue Reading →
Project Payne: Huge fireplace opened up for dressing table area
There are so many unblogged #Projects running at the moment, my head is spinning so some order is required! Project Payne is one of our rental apartments finished six months ago but the tenant moved in so fast after the refurbishment I didn't have time to photograph it. This is often the case with our... Project J: the bathroom gets moving & kitchen taps arrive (with minor hiccups)
Down at Project J, things are moving, albeit sometimes behind the scenes. The lads had a bit of a mare yesterday as the combined thickness of the Topps Tiles metro tiles, plasterboard and 18mm original boiler cupboard plywood meant that the tap, valves and shower wouldn't fit - the connections were too short. Huge man-panic... Continue Reading →
