Design – Project Squeeze: a silk purse out of a sow’s ear

There’s nothing like trying to make a silk purse out of a sow’s ear and this latest Moregeous challenge will be exactly that. A top floor mini flat which was a studio, west facing over green trees (rare in central Manchester!) with a sliver of a puke coloured bathroom.

How to turn this pile of hideousness into a Moregeous palace of rental delight in 8 weeks. Jeez, the goals I set myself.

It pained me to rip this bathroom out as someone had clearly spent so much time, money and design effort getting it just right, but sometimes you just have to be brutal.
