Finally I get round to it!!
Thanks to Andy Marshall Architectural Photography for such spectacular images, to Team & Mr Moregeous for such hard work, and also to my clients for allowing me such freedom and having such faith in our vision for the redesign of Project Rivet.
It was a delight to give this Manchester apartment a Moregeous makeover. The apartment is housed in what was originally the Smerfit building in Manchester’s Castlefield and was the first building in the city where owners were given free reign to design their own spaces. Back at the start of the noughties, glass, steel and concrete were almost obligatory, but this very stark and cold look is hard to live with. I wanted a much warmer, glamorous and vintage feel for the space, whilst still enhancing all the original features, like you guessed it, the steel RIVETS! A place to live in comfort as well as in city centre style.
Lots of great suppliers used at the scheme: Rockett St George, Andrew Martin, Annie Sloan, Farrow & Ball, Better Bathrooms, B&Q, Plastikote, Designers Guild, Agapanthus Lighting, Altrincham Tap Gallery, to name but a few x
