Gorgeous indoor planter filled with herbs and flowers

Now that the fab Crafty Magazine has featured our indoor planter, I can post some images for those of you who fancy a little DIY project this summer. Not everyone has a huge garden to run planting riot in so this is definitely a project for bringing the outdoors in 🙂

I found an old set of pine drawers for £15 at a local charity shop and set about transforming it into a planter to grow herbs inside the kitchen. Mine featured thyme for the photoshoot above but you can plant anything at all. Well, anything except mint, which is so naughtily invasive it takes over if you don’t leave it in it’s own pot.
