Property – Transform a rental kitchen using a zebrano worktop

Sooo na
Such a narrow galley kitchen - tenants of under 7 stone please!! Lovely ruched plastic floor and chipped worktop....

For the above, the existing opening was made wider and higher,  thus allowing a full run of units on the right hand side. The boiler was moved to another location, freeing up space for the fridge freezer and a tall oven / microwave housing. The washing machine was moved to beyond the wall you can just see to the left, ie into the wet area / sink room. This fridge wall is open to the living room, so not great to be looking at a washing machine!

It does look a tad clinical, but this was a landlord makeover, no fancy stuff going on! Easy to clean, basic but needs to look contemporary and stylish, whilst packing in all the necessary appliances and storage. Plus the new tenants moved in about five minutes after we’d finished so no time for dressing and pretty pictures 😉

  1. Hi, could you please let me know where you got the laminate worktops from? which company makes them? I think they look very nice and would appreciate a pointer as to where you got them from. Thanks
