You can buy all the designated brush cleaning apparatus in the world but there’s nothing better than recyling /re-using your own. Costco’s giant jar of artichokes has made us some delicious late night dips over the summer – now to make use of the empty jar too, a complete success with no spillage! Filling it with turps at 30mph got me shouted at by Mr M though 😉
FYI – Artichoke dip:
8 or so artichoke hearts popped in the food processor
Add in a few twists of salt, black pepper and chilli seeds; a glug of olive oil; a splash of white wine vinegar; 1/2 a tub of mascarpone cheese.
Whizz up in the processor. If it’s a bit dry & sticky add some juice from the Costco jar. If it then gets too sloppy, stick some more mascarpone in. This is not an exact science 😉
Eat on crackers, toasted pitta etc. Or on celery if you are really healthy.
Mmm, this sounds yummy, make sure it’s full fat cheese as the others have too much sugar in. Try these crackers as an alternative to processed shop bought crackers –
