How cute are these homemade festive meatballs?! My niece and I made them today by roasting the meatballs (finest mince, bbq seasoning, parmesan, egg, breadcrumbs), letting them cool, then topping them with a dollop of creme fraiche, cuts of spiky holly leaves and a sparkly red edible jewel, though you could use a pomegranate seed which would work equally well.
Make sure you tell your guests the holly leaves are NOT edible, unless you make some of your own from green pastry 🙂
