There are so many unblogged #Projects running at the moment, my head is spinning so some order is required! Project Payne is one of our rental apartments finished six months ago but the tenant moved in so fast after the refurbishment I didn't have time to photograph it. This is often the case with our... A fresh Springtime start
Is it really nine days since writing last? Time flies when the sun starts shining, there are two client contracts to finish, tenants to get in and some mental 'gathering' to be done. After funeral, I was exhausted. I think the past few months have been the most challenging of my life to date, the... Continue Reading →
Project J: the bathroom gets moving & kitchen taps arrive (with minor hiccups)
Down at Project J, things are moving, albeit sometimes behind the scenes. The lads had a bit of a mare yesterday as the combined thickness of the Topps Tiles metro tiles, plasterboard and 18mm original boiler cupboard plywood meant that the tap, valves and shower wouldn't fit - the connections were too short. Acoustic insulation at Project Pizza, we’re so kind to tenants!
It's been all good so far this week with Projects Pizza, J and Tofu in full swing. Tofu, I hear you cry, what's that? Soon to be blogged - a bathroom refurbishment incorporating travertine, solid walnut and mosaics - once we overcome the 'issues' with collapsing ceilings, shaky joists and wobbly walls! The boys are... Continue Reading →
Project J’s bath is fitted and the retro vibe kitchen arrives
Loving the look of Project J's bathroom so far, the white metro tiles are on the wall (mostly!), the monochrome mosaic floor tiles are down and the double ended bath has been fitted, it already feels a million miles from the bathroom it was just a short time ago. We started painting the newly plastered... Continue Reading →
